What is MultiHub IQ?

MultiHub IQ (MIQ) is Jetpack’s proprietary technology for intelligently distributing inventory across multiple fulfillment centers. Instead of guessing which locations to stock, MultiHub IQ uses demand forecasting, historical order data, and regional analytics to automatically recommend—and execute—optimal inventory placement. Think of it as autopilot for your inventory distribution. When you send inventory to Jetpack with MultiHub IQ enabled, you ship everything to a single “Hero Hub” location. From there, MIQ automatically redistributes your products to regional fulfillment centers based on where your customers are located. The result:

Single Hub Setup If you’re fulfilling fewer than 2,000-3,000 orders per month or your customer base is geographically concentrated, a single fulfillment center might be the right starting point. How Rebalancing Works

Demand doesn’t stay static. Maybe a viral TikTok boosts sales in California. Maybe you launch a regional marketing campaign. Maybe seasonal trends shift where customers are ordering from. MultiHub IQ continuously monitors these changes and rebalances inventory accordingly. Rebalancing involves:

• Internal Transfer Orders (ITOs) – Moving inventory between fulfillment centers to match demand
• Restock recommendations – Suggesting when and where to send new inventory
• Rebalance Point metrics – Jetpack calculates recommended total inventory levels across your network to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess storage

Shipping internationally comes with complexity: customs documentation, landed cost calculations, carrier selection, duties and taxes. When you have in-country inventory through Jetpack’s global network, much of this complexity disappears. Benefits of in-country fulfillment:

Warehouse Network FAQs

How do I know which fulfillment center my inventory is in?

The Jetpack dashboard shows real-time inventory levels broken down by fulfillment center. Navigate to Inventory in the left sidebar, and you’ll see quantities at each location. You can also download inventory reports that include location details.

Can I choose which fulfillment center to use?

Yes. When you create a WRO (Warehouse Receiving Order), you select the destination fulfillment center. If you’re using MultiHub IQ, you send inventory to your Hero Hub, and the system handles distribution from there. You can also manually specify fulfillment centers for specific products if needed.

What happens if one fulfillment center runs out of stock?

If you’re using multi-hub distribution and one location runs out, orders automatically route to the next closest fulfillment center with available inventory. Your Jetpack Care team will also proactively alert you when inventory at any location is running low.

How long does it take to add a new fulfillment center?

Adding a new fulfillment center is usually a quick process. Once you and your Jetpack Care team decide on the location, you can begin sending inventory immediately. If using MultiHub IQ, the system starts redistributing inventory automatically once it arrives at your Hero Hub.

Can I see which fulfillment center each order shipped from?

Yes. Every order in your dashboard includes shipment details showing which fulfillment center processed the order. You can also download order reports with fulfillment center data included.

Is there a minimum order volume required for multi-hub distribution?

There’s no hard minimum, but multi-hub distribution typically makes the most sense for brands fulfilling 3,000+ orders per month with geographically diverse customers. Your Jetpack Care team will help assess whether it’s the right fit for your business.
